Shayne Clarke


Shayne first became interested in the Media in High School where he wrote a number of articles for his school newspaper.  He went on to complete some work experience with various radio stations and Channel Nine before starting an Associate Degree in Broadcasting in 1997.

He obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcasting / TV reporting in 2001 after successfully finishing a three-month secondment at GWN7 in Bunbury.

Shayne returned to Perth to present News and cover stories for Sonshine FM, where he also became acting News Director.  He loves the challenges of the media industry and enjoys meeting people.

“Being involved with television is hard work but also a privilege,” Shayne says, “MRG’s a fantastic opportunity for me to maintain and develop the necessary skills to advance in my chosen field.”
